Allison Williams
Allison Howell Williams, born on April 13, 1998, in the US she is a performer and producer. Many media publications have named her"a horror queen" because of her role in horror movies. The first time she was recognized for her work was her role as Marnie Michaels on the HBO comedy-drama show Girls (2012-2017) and brought her an Critics' Choice Award nomination. Her big break came when she played her role as Rose Armitage in the horror film Get Out (2017), which brought her nominations from The MTV Movie Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards among others. She went on to star in the films of horror, The Perfection (2018) and M3GAN (2022), the latter of which she directed. Williams is a daughter, born and raised by former NBC Nightly News Anchor and Director of Editorial Brian Williams and TV Producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. Williams is the older sibling of Stoddard and Williams. Williams attended New Canaan Country School and Greenwich Academy. Williams later went on to Yale University majoring in English; she was a member of Morse College and the St. Elmo secret society. Williams also worked at a Ralph Lauren Outlet Store in New Canaan. Williams was a member for four seasons of Just Add Water, which is an improv troupe. She also appeared in College Musical on YouTube. The series starred Sam Tsui and was directed by Kurt Hugo Schneider, both of whom attended Yale. She graduated in 2010 at Yale with the English diploma.
