Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative route she could take. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. The group broke up shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she served as the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop group. It was here that she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. This was released in the year 1992. Commercially and critically the album was a massive achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs most loved soul jazz and blues tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano that Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first solo album, and is a sequel to the art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and music producer and singer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to gain international recognition in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 when she released the album of Diva, which featured many of her most popular tracks like Why and walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the album from 1995 studio features cover versions of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
